What pickleball app helps you improve?
PointIQ is built for improvement rather than scheduling or scorekeeping. You log a match in a few seconds, and PointIQ turns your history into things you can act on.
- Partner chemistry — which partners you actually win with, scored from how your results move when you play together.
- Gear performance — how each paddle performs for you, measured from your own logged games rather than from reviews.
- Coaching insights — over thirty read-outs on your patterns, with the top three in each category available free.
- Court standing — where you rank on the courts you actually play, against the people you actually play.
Recorded matches go further: they are analyzed shot by shot, with rally maps, shot types and a scorebug replay. It is free to start, with no credit card.
Can PointIQ analyze pickleball video?
Yes. A recorded match is analyzed shot by shot and the results are stored in your PointIQ library, so your stats and Broadcast stay in sync across your devices.
You can record a match in PointIQ, or bring video across from the PB Vision app, which powers the video analysis. Either route uses one tracked-game credit per match.
PointIQ does not require video. Logged matches — typed in by hand in a few seconds — drive the trends, partner chemistry, gear performance and leaderboards on their own.
What does PointIQ cost?
There are four plans, and a free tier that stays free:
- Free — $0, forever. No credit card.
- Pro — $79.99 per year.
- Partner Duo — $129 per year for two seats, you and your partner.
- Coaching+ — $24 per month, or $199 per year.

What is a tracked game, and do I need a subscription for one?
A tracked game is a match PointIQ records and AI-tags for you: shot types, rally maps and a scorebug replay. It is metered — one credit is one tracked game — and credits roll over and never expire.
You do not need a subscription. Credit packs can be bought on any plan, including Free, from the web:
- 3 games — $8.99
- 10 games — $27.99
- 25 games — $64.99
- 50 games — $119.99
- 100 games — $229.99
There is also a monthly Recording plan that refills credits automatically each month at the best per-game rate.
Buying on iPhone works differently. The App Store sells monthly plans that do include tracked games — Pro + 3, Pro + 13, and Coaching+ + 13, refilled every month — while the annual plans include none. Credit packs and Partner Duo are web-only and are not sold in the app.
Is PointIQ free?
Yes. The free tier is free forever and does not ask for a card. It includes match logging, the feed, Respect, gear tracking, trends from your logged matches, and the top three coaching insights in each category. Your five most recent games stay in your library.
Paid plans lift the library to unlimited and unlock all thirty-plus coaching insights, AI coach chat, Court Viewer and shot maps, matchup scouting reports, and partner chemistry.
What can you track in PointIQ?
Match results and the trends underneath them; which partners you win with and which you do not; how each paddle in your bag performs across your own games; your standing on the courts you play; and, for recorded matches, shot-by-shot detail with rally maps and replay.
Facilities and leagues can run The Run, a live court board for open play. Coaches on Coaching+ get a roster of up to fifteen players with briefs and classes.
What devices does PointIQ run on?
PointIQ runs on iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and in any modern browser at pointiq.vibral.org. Your account and library are the same in both.
There is no Android app yet. Android users can use the web app, which covers logging, stats and the feed.
